FUNDS MANAGEMENT - Fund Accountant

 

Organisation

 

A small boutique fund administrator is looking for a funds administrator to joining their operations division in delivering bespoke administrative services to sophisticated Fund Manager and Hedge Fund clients

 

Role

 

• across all aspects of the fund valuations process including valuation, trade management corporate actions transfer agency and reconciliations

• Partner with the business in on boarding new clients to the platform

• Take specifications of the new clients for on boarding purposes

• Accurate delivery operational tasks in a accurate and timely fashion

• Investigate with external and internal clients and exceptions

• Genuine opportunity to process reengineer area of operations, to increase risk and controls and produce efficienciesInvolved in the preparation of pitch documents, RFPs and marketing for prospective clients

• Supporting the BDM in the Asia Pac region

 

Individual

 

• Direct experience to either funds management or custodial industry

• Direct experience of unit pricing, NAV calculations or securities pricing

• Exposure to corporate actions beneficial

• Ability to re-engineer a process from initial problem analysis through to solution implementation.

• Strong organizational skillsImpeccable communications both written and verbal

• Ability to work under pressureAbility to drive multiple projects simultaneously
