Performance Analyst (Funds Management / Attribution / BA)

This premier Institution renowned for its development opportunities, is located in the CBD and is actively recruiting. An excellent opportunity to join a truly analytical and market facing function within funds management.

 

Role:

 

• Production of Performance Analytics reporting and commentary as defined by SLA's

• Analysis, research and of data from information vendors.

• Understanding the performance methodology used in the Performance system

• Actively work within and promote the control culture and  manage initiatives that mitigate risk within the function

• Provision of information to other areas within the institution such as operations, Compliance, Legal and Accounting

• Broad project scope including working directly with the PMO team  on strategic projects and being seconded to stand-alone Business Analysis functions to develop short term tactical solutions.

• Provide genuine market commentary and work in partnership with the Investment Managers, Fund Mangers and Hedge Funds

 

Individual:

 

• Direct experience of Performance analytics and market risk reporting

• Understanding

• Broad product knowledge including Equities, Rates, Credit, Derivatives, Hybrids and Exotics desirable

• Strong Excel and Access with VBA desirable

• Direct experience to either funds management or custodial industry

• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with the front office.

• Strong organizational skills

• Impeccable communications both written and verbal

• Ability to work under pressure

• Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
